MTA Members have a high standard of professional
conduct and this is reflected in MTA's Code of
Ethics.
MTA members are required to abide by the Code
and this means that consumers can have
confidence when dealing with a business that
displays the MTA logo, that business has made
that commitment to good service for its
customers.
Motor Vehicle Repairers Must Be Licensed
In NSW vehicle owners can rest assured in the
knowledge that repairers must be licensed to
work on your car.
To hold a
licence, a repairer must meet criteria laid down by the State
government licensing authority, the Motor Vehicle Repair
Industry Authority (MVRIA).
This
includes having specified equipment in the workshop and
employing only certificated tradespeople to carry out repairs.
